Nasila Salek, JD, is President and co-founder of Medernity. She provides legal and strategic guidance across governance, company strategy, product development, and Medernity’s intellectual property, including patents and trademarks.

She brings nearly three decades of experience in regulatory compliance, health law, marketing and financial analysis, leading cross-functional initiatives and building programs that support sustainable, compliant growth.

Nasila also leads the transformation of a comprehensive financial-services compliance program, aligning governance, policies, testing and advisory work to strengthen regulatory rigor and enable responsible organizational growth. 

She is married to Medernity’s Chief Medical and Innovation Officer and co-founder, Dr. Amin Akhlaghi. The inspiration for Medernity’s technology grew from their frustrations with the limited feeding options available when their son was born, fueling their commitment to developing solutions that meaningfully improve the lives of children and families. They continue to explore new, inventive ways to bring child‑centered innovation to families everywhere.
