Alicia Carbaugh, MHS, is the founding Chief Operating Officer of Medernity, where she leads operations, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional initiatives that bring the company's vision to life. 

She draws on decades of experience spanning global public health and policy, health communications, program implementation, and frontline service delivery. These are united by a commitment to enhance access to care, improve outcomes, and strengthen systems.

Prior to Medernity, Alicia was a co-architect of the global health policy program at the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF), advised governments and organizations in the U.S. and around the world on health initiatives, facilitated access to medical devices in lower-resourced settings, and worked across public and private sectors. 

She also serves as an Emergency Medical Technician and STEAM educator, bringing a deep appreciation for the experiences of patients, families, and care teams to her work.
